Emily proudly hails from Auburn, Alabama, and is one of those rare Southerners who never managed to pick up the accent. She graduated with distinction from Yale University, made her Broadway debut in the hit musical The Book of Mormon, and later performed all three Schuyler Sisters in the musical Hamilton (sometimes in the same weekend). In addition to Yale, Emily has studied at New York’s Upright Citizen’s Brigade, Chicago’s Second City, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.

Her pilot Miss Alabama is currently in development with CBS Studios and Tarana Burke’s Field/House Productions.
